NOT ALL SIZES ARE STOCKED IN STORE PLEASE CALL TO SEE AVAILABILITY.
Designed by Jean-Marie Denoix, DVM, PhD. For horses lacking symmetry where the contracted side is supported by the wide branch. Soft tissue injuries that require support are helped by the wide branch while bone lesions can be helped with the narrow branch by reducing pressure. The projection medially on the narrow branch is to engage the bars.
This is an asymmetric shoe with a wide branch to provide support under collateral or suspensory ligament injuries and a narrow branch to reduce pressure under subchondral bone lesions. (This is a lateral left front shoe or a medial right front shoe.)
Indications: Collateral desmopathies and suspensory branch injuries; put the wide branch under the lesion.
Subchondral bone injuries: put the narrow branch on the side of the lesion
