These are designed for Tandem Harness. They allow a method of attaching the tandem leader traces to the wheeler breastplate. This offers a more direct line of draft.
The spoon is fitted by hooking the small loop onto the wheeler breastplate buckle UNDER the wheeler traces. The leader traces are then clipped onto the larger loop.
